    HELP!! Dropped washer in carb!!!!!

Stupid Me! I dropped lock washer in front carb on SL650. Can't find a 1/4 flex magnet to try to retrieve it. I was thinking about using a shop vac with a small hose to suck it up. Any help or suggestions?

Obivously, DO NOT start the ski. The washer is likely stuck at the curve at the bottmo of the carb, or at the reeds. Slowly take the carbs off until you find it.

If you can't get a magnet to fish it out,I'd pull the carb and get it that way, Or try sucking it out.

If you find a stainless steel magnet let me know. The shop vac might work.

Some cheaper stainless is still magnetic

Obviously not truly stainless then. Must be an alloy. True stainless is completely devoid of ferrous material thus making it non-magnetic. (I am pretty sure that "non-magnetic" is a word because I asked my 5 year old and she agreed with me !)

    sawdust
