    73.2 without a pulley

I've done a couple of mods to my ski that have given me great results.
    6 degree timing advance.
    New IC mod.
With these 2 mods (along with my original modifications) I have been running high 72's in the heat and can run over 73 in less humid weather with a best of 73.2
    All without a pulley kit!
I switched my IC mod to a double bottom inlet/top outlet setup. This has worked better than my original IC mod and is a huge difference over the stock IC setup. With this setup, the IC is MUCH cooler to the touch even after extended WOT runs.
The timing advance made this thing run like a completely different ski.
Much harder pull throughout the entire RPM range. I am consistantly turning 8050-8090 rpm's in the heat and humidity.
Before the new IC mod and timing advance, I was turning
    low 7900's
When it cools off this fall, I think high 73's should be within reach

I went from running high 69's in 95 degree, humid weather with no timing advance and original IC mod to my current speed. In the cool fall weather, I could consistantly run 71 but I didn't have the IC mod last year.
74 without a pulley kit may be within reach this fall.
    We'll see

My ski has NEVER cavitated. With the latest mods, it's right on the edge of foaming the prop. Out of the hole, it has cavitated ever so slightly a few times but nothing major. I agree that a new prop would be a big help with my new setup but so far, it's a mystery as to which one and what pitch?????

Expect better results in the future. 250x owners are going to start seeing bigger and better speeds. There is a think tank going on where everybody has the developement and the distribution of knowledge for all to get out. Trust me when I say the speeds you will start seeing are real and it is what happens when good people get together and put out what is known. Now, back into my little niche in the world.
