    02 Polaris Genesis I 1200

I am having electrical issues I think. No power to fuel pump unless you ground pump, no spark, no power at injectors. I have traced groun wire to see if there is a break and cannot find one. It apperars there is power on the positve side but no ground to anything. Please help

    Welcome to the Hulk!

Download and save the 2002 Service Manual.

Check the CPS (Crank Position Sensor). I suspect the EMM doesn't know the engine is cranking, OR the EMM has no power (but you have already checked the fuses).

When you start cranking, does the MFI digital display wake up from sleep mode?

yes as soon as you crank it over the display wakes up

Is there a way to test the crank sensor to see if it is the problem I tried to ohm it and had the meter set at 200k and got a 1.4 on meter ohms

Set the ohm-meter to full scale 2K, not 200K.

CPS resistance should be close to 200 ohms. Check the manual for the exact number.

Also check that the CPS and wires to it are not shorted to ground, or visibly damaged. It is held in with one screw, and sealed with a rubber seal - it just pulls out, with a little wiggling.

CPS reading should be 200 Ohms MAX, so anything less is good.
