Yes my friends...and they say if couldnt be done!!!

Today 80 degrees, slight wind and chop I ran best time 77.2

Would have liked to get more but the weather conditions deterioriated rapidly. I had just got there when Billy and Coop were pulling out of the water. Congrats to you guys...

With all that oil in Texas they might be coating the surface with it to make it slicker.

I has a decent day myself. Took my trim tabs off and filled the holes with set-screws for experimentation and ran a 71.9 on a full tank of gas and ran a bunch of 72.2's and 72.1's (both ways) down to a 1/2 tank. W/O tabs I do have an obnoxious bounce (porpoise) from the tabs gone. I am sure there was another .5-.7 left in her if I could have settled down the bouncing.
W/O tabs, there is not much difference on handling on the big end or even slight chop for me, but there is a slippery feeling I dont' like if a turn needs to be executed. I could have ran faster but I just could not settle out the ski. Next time will be better.
Not sure if I want to continue and see if I can settle out the ski W/O tabs or not. I will prolly put them back on.

72.2 1/2 tank of gas (obnoxious bounce)
    7220 rpms
    1200 grate
    Trim - Neutral
    4-5 month old gas
    1.25 year old plugs
    no trim tabs

    At 11am
    83+ degree weather
    Dewpoint 70
    Wind 9 mph
    humidity 75%
    barometer 29.96 (at 9am)

Congrats on your numbers Rich ! I wish I could have stayed longer but I had to run.
Also, Congrats on Coop's 77.7, way to go.

Good job Richard. I Guess me and billy left you some good water to run in. If my rpms were down, I know yours were also so both our times could have been faster. Congrats to Billy also. He ran consistant 72's. He had crazy #'s and one hell of a holeshot. I think he will take on all rxp's and win.

Speeds and RPM numbers came down this weekend but today were higher than yesterday and regardless of today's weather WFO ran the highes RPM's ever with a whooping 7180 RPM turning a 14/23 prop. We have been working on several things and we broke some new groung for the EFI package this week. We are going to try a 14/24 on the non-ported EFI when I come back from the tropics and hope to run 78 MPH on 80+ weather. His bottom and mid are better than ever.!!

Our goal is to reach 78-79 MPH w/o porting and the handling package.

RX951 has a great holeshot and would not doubt that its stronger than many ported 1300's

Coop congratulations on your numbers, RX951 told me that you back them up and your ski is running strong on top Keep tunning and get it ready for mudbug. Texas has to represent BIG

I will apologize here in public for doubting your numbers!!!

Hope that we can still ride together and have a picnic at Egret. I'll bring a bucket of "Popeye's Chicken" and you bring the watermelon!!
