03 Genesis I High speed miss

I have a miss at high speed. I can feel it and I hear it. A slight "gurgle" or "pop" and then you feel it. Happens at WOT, maybe one every 7 to 10 seconds. Veryy erratic and inconsistent. RPM is 66xx at 57.1 I was getting about 60.4 on the speedo a week ago. Any ideas.

Sounds like TPS issue .Change plugs as well .Some times the porcelain breaks in the plug and it drops down the electrode then plays up as it gets too hot for spark to function properly .I would say TPS though

    UPDATE!!

Its got a new one! 3 weeks old. I hear they are pretty flaky though!!

I just got back from a lake run. After pulling the plugs and checking piston wash (which is pretty hard to do-Side plug), I checked the gap and they seemed a little tight. Gapped them to about .030-.032. Stuck back in and decided to pull the pipe water filter and found it full of crap. Didn't really pull it for this problem necessarily, but have been meaning to. Took it back out with no seat to leak check the hose and see if I could "see" the miss. And what ya know. Back up to 6730rpm and 60.2mph indicated on light chop. I am starting to wonder 2 things.

    1. If the water flow was minimal or restricted could this cause the problem

    2. When I initially took out and noticed the problem, the lake was like GLASS! I'm wondering if this had an increased surface tension on the hull and possibly loaded the engine too much. Just a thought.

That may not seem like a lot of speed to you folks with 2 seaters, etc. Remember this is a 4 seater and weighs in at over 700# without rider, and it is bone stock. Right down to the warning stickers. I would like to do some "sleeper" mods to it. How would it feel to get out run by a jetski with a family of four on it??? LOL!!! Cheers all.

Ph20Craft, I plan on doing a reed check in the future. She till stumbles off of idle. Can you get me the link or info on the hole size they step up the throttle plates to on the idle air bleed hole if you have it. Also, any info/contacts on the pipe setup. Looking for a little more. Maybe we start a thread------Operation Genesis ii. Lets do it While the Captain Morgan is flowing though!!
