    Exhaust help needed ASAP

    I have a 2001 GP1200R, and im putting the exhaust back together, and i cant get it to stop leaking where it goes into the firewall. the hose clamp is tight, what should i do?

    Is the stinger pipe pushed against the waterbox enough? Is your hose clamp stripped? Is your rubber coupler cut?

    the hose clap on each end of the flange is tight?

    if so, remove and check for anything in the way of sealing, there shouldnt be much pressure there.

    firewall? do you mean transom?
    What's leaking? exhaust or water?

    Exactly...before the waterbox or at the transom?

    going into the firewall. its leaking water. its got a tight seal, ive tried it over and over and cant understand why. the exhaust is all the way into the rubber coupling

    remove and make sure the rubber boot is not cracked or damaged

    not cracked or damaged. its clampin down tight. idk

    How do you know that is the source of the leak? Could it be leaking somewhere else and running down to that location? I am not familiar with the GPR.
