    Need 2000 gpr 1200 opinions

OKay, now that I have my motor flying and the ski is hauling ass. I wanted to upgrade to handling mods. I have heard a bunch of do this and that and the other. So heres what I am thinking of:
    r&d ride plate
    r&d 800 or 1200 intake grate
    r&d trim tabs

I've heard some prefer the stock trim tabs some the r&d. Is there that much of a difference?
Its a giving with the r&d ride plate, I am getting that.
What are the pros and cons of the 800 r&d grate, 1200 r&d grate and the stock grate? I run mostly in river water with sometimes boat wakes or just some light chop. This ski will probably never see the ocean but maybe once a year, so I am not worried about handling out in the ocean. So what would be a good setup?

    Hey Shooter

The 800 grate is for top end speed, but will cavitate out of the hole...
the 1200/1300 grate is best for low end and rough water...
the stock grate is a trot line anchor...discard it

Some (including me) like the R&D ride plate cause you can manipulate it
to fit the hull better, unless you can find and older Riva plate...

The R&D/Riva trim tabs are extended, thicker and wider than stock-for rough water conditions...
    they can be manipulated also.

Do not run the stock grate at speeds over 65. There is a nasty left hook instore for you if you do.

Haven't noticed it Jay as the ski is doing well over 65 mph all weekend. I am running no trim tabs on my ski either, hahahaha. Stock ride plate and stock intake grate. After talking with Rich, I think I know what route to take.
