    Pump shoe mis-match w/ transom.

Man...the '05 shoe on my ski is wayyyyyyyyy out of whack. I don't think I'll be able to grind enough to match without screwing up the shoe. I should take a picture, but the wife's camera is the worst ever made. To get a mental picture, where the shoe fits up into the transom there is a 4.2mm gap! I've never seen one this bad. The transom is is totally snug against the hull locator nubs..so the transom plate ain't going any higher.

    Any suggestions? I am open.

Man, this is bad...the good news is the shoe does not hang below the hull.

Buy a decent camera so that we can see what the heck you are talking about.

Let me stray from the subject for a minute....

It's 12:15am. I accidentally pulled a can of tomato juice off the counter and on the top of my right foot. It is now as big as Mikes' head. I've got a bucket of ice on it, and it's still swelling. Gee, I wonder if it's broken. Let me think...

On top of that, I've got a neighbor that wants to play his new thousand dollar stereo all night. Cops have already came and went. Earplugs work, but I shouldn't have to live like this...and I'm 4 doors up. The next door neighbors must have their heads buried in the dirt.

PW, I got a pretty good camera(not the best but it does take good pictures), so if you want to send me the ski I will take the pictures and post it for them to see. You can always go back and get another one after you send me that one.

I wish mine was only 4mm, it was around 7mm!!!!

Might be time to get some washers and shim the plate down as far as you can. Just hold hte hsoe there and you will be able to tell if its lower than the hull and still lined up, should tell you if you can get in the ball park..

    Mike,

Maybe you need to perform your patented "drop mod" on it - that may fix it!
