Is it correct that my rxpx goes slower than ultra 250x? In rough water? How to make it better than ultra in rough water? Tnx

Not that its a faster ski but the 250X just loves the rough stuff. Hook up i believe is the advantage here.

Probably not a lot you can do.. The ultra is a tank on water that will plough through the rough... more downforce to keep it hooked up..

This info is correct, the ultra 250x hull is vey hard to beat in open sea rough waters because it has much more hook up in this riding conditions than the RXP'S hulls, in my opinion there is not much you can do to stay with them even with some handling mods. Your best choice should be to trade your RXP-X for the bigger RXT-X with a few handling mods like a aftermarket intake grate, skegs and the RE block off and set the VTS 1 or 2 click below neutral to keep the bow planted to the water this should take care of the Ultra.

Its not a fair comparison to have a p-x against 250x in rough water.
Different horses for different courses hey.and the p-x dont belong their!

True comment that you will be better with a T-x , but they still cant catch me in the real ugly stuff, they are closer but still wont catch the kawi barge in real poo water.

I just coax all the punters to race on to rough water , thats were I got the advantage.

as said above not really a fair comparrison between the p-x and ultra.the p-x is a lake ski.

the ultras alot heavier and deals with chop amazingly.
as said above you could trade in and get a t-x with a few mods......but i still cant see you beating the ultra if the riders any good at all!the ultra is the undisputed KING OF CHOP imho!!!!

Daniel, just lure them into smooth water, the stock Ultras will get punished by the RXP-X in a smooth water situation, your blistering hole shot will leave that bloated barge in your wake...

P.S. Little 2 seat RXP just took second place stock in the Florida Offshore Challenge,
so I wouldn't say they don't belong there...

I raced one in chop with my rxp, every time I came unhooked he took the lead, but when I was hooked I left him behind.

If you are in choppy water there is nothing you can do.
