    96 XP800 Exhaust Valve Leak

I have a water leak coming from the exhaust valve. I thought it was coming from around where it attaches to the muffler but my friend thought it might be the actual exhaust valve. The exhaust valve is very loose and easily moved by hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just realized they call it a pressure regulator assembly.

Take it apart and see if the internal center part has come loose from the body. The old styles were bad about doing this. You might have to buy a new one.

FYI...you'll get better response posting in the two-stroke section for your 96.
