    Supercharger slippage..

Hey guys had my intake pipes off the other day and just wanted to check my supercharger slippage.. I tried to spin my impellar, and i could move it clockwise a little with a lot of force, but just about cut my fingers off tryin to move it anti-clockwise.. which way is it meant to spin?? is it normal to be able to get it to move a bit with a lot of force?
    Thanks
