    Chines on GPR hull..

Has anyone thought of or tried to sand the chimes flat to enduce more lift? Im talking about sanding them down to have about 3/4- 1" surface.(besides you mike)....Probably affect the tracking huh.

So what...you don't like the sound your wind chimes make in a breeze. What's your purpose here...to give them a higher pitched whine or a deeper throatier Bhaaaa...

Ever ride a Raider in nasty water? Lots of chines. Lots of lift. Lots of bite.

The KEEL on the other hand may have some effect.

Chimes? WTH? You mean bells don't you? LMAO!!!!

It will slow you down if thats what you're asking...raise the keel you go faster "So I'm told" but yet to try. Lifting the hull out of the water is a good for speed but bad for handling (read bucking) so there is a line somewhere in there.

Chimes. You have one too many sheep(s).

Actually if I understand hydrodinamics correctly the chiNes are going to provide lift, if you remove them you are going to have more hull in the water, more drag, lower top speeds and longer accel times.

Been researching alot and found out that 'sharpening' the chines will improve handling.Only problem would be keeping them straight if you did sharpen them.Waste of time and a waste of forum space.
