+1. Maybe a faulty valve?? Re check it, verify directions, and verify your routed the way directions say so. Again, check valve if you can.

I did the $38 intercooler mod I don't have any good directions. Maybe someone could help explain a little better.

Get temp off your intercooler and then put it back to stock. Let me know how it goes.

Here is what I did on my race boat and it proved to be bad with extremely high temps.

What your looking at is a T connection off one line in. I also added the relief water valve, funny it never opened. Seems as though the pressure drops below a good flow rate.
Now remember my boat is over boosted and runs hot anyway.
Try drilling the hull for extra water line or running it stock, maybe it will help.

Sounds like something is not routed right or maybe one of the inlet hoses is pinched. I did mine after others had done the same setup and got good results. I have now gone to a slightly different setup. Instead of running the line from the "T" in the inlet to the top of the IC, I ran it to the original outlet on the other side of the IC and used the top one as the outlet. I also removed the line coming from the exhaust that I had originally run to the "T" on the outlet side and plugged the hole on the exhaust manifold. This is the line that on a stock setup goes to the top of the IC. We call this new hose routing a "double bottom inlet" setup. This new setup has worked better than my 38 buck mod and works much better than a stock setup.

Jimmy do you think you can do alittle drawing showing what exactly goes where. I think these are great ideas but folks are getting alittle confused on the routing of the lines.
