Stocke head decked for 150lb compression is the way to go.

Why not Aftermarket, only because it`s cheaper or is it reliability?

    aftermarket is fine

getting stock head milled is cheaper

    no girdle kit is required

The Riva and R&D are pretty much the same... you dont need a girdle kit unless going over 150psi IMO.

I like the 3 piece heads so I can fine tune my compression and squish for each cylinder... but thats just me.

Lowell Horning is the man for the job.
It's not just sending the the head to the mill; it's adjusting the squish band to adapt to the increased compression.

I believe Hydrotherapy had Lowell do his....
