74+ RXP-X Chine Walking, Sponsons fixed issue
hey guys, thanks to jerry i got my rxp-x into the low 78mph range, my only problem with the ski till last week was anyting over 74 mph the ski would porpouse and start chine walking ( wobbeling back and foth) it felt very unstable. i tried various trim positins and it didnt help much, so i went with the riva wedge and extension rod. didnt get much gains from it and still had the problem. so i was talking back and forth with jerry and decided to give the riva sponsons a try, install was a snap and was done on my jet dock. i installed them in the lowest position. i must say the ski rides so much better. the tracking as amazing now. it solved my chine walk and porpousing issue. i also noticed when i jump a wake the ski is much more predictable, stay level from side to side. so if anyone is haveing the problems i was, give the sponsons a try,

i basically spoke with jerry in numerous e-mails, there was no tuning done to the ski. i wanted the most speed while keeping my warranty, i average a constant 76mph with the right conditions i peak into the low 78's. the olny tuning i did was with the reduction nozzle. i must have swapped the ring so many times i dont even remember whick is on there now.
