    performance Intake Grate

    I am looking for a performance intake grate for my SL 780, one that wont break the wallet, looked online, them things are expensive... lol let me know what you got.

    What kind of performance change are you looking for?

    More top end speed, or better hook up in rough water?

    possibly both, if there is a in between, probably more towards speed.

    better off getting a long pump or ride plate , grate does well enough till you make the most power you can

    If the SL780 already has the extended pump I'd run with SLX intake grate (R&D SL650 or short wing). The SLX handled and hooked up great, ran roughly 60MPH and ran all day long. Try to replicate the SLX and you'll have a kick ass rec boat.

    what ride plates can he choose from ?

    is that the grate still for sale on the polaris website ?

    hey brad you wanna meet up next year for some rideing , a few of us go to local lakes we try to make it the same distance for everybody

    I thought it ran around 52 MPH all day long?

    I double checked my notes, we were both wrong BUT I swear his ran 60. I just couldn't tell you what mods if any we did.
    Anybody else have an SLX780 Top Speed we can use??

    SL780=54MPH
    SL900=60+MPH
    SLT780=52MPH
    Hurricane 50MPH
    SL700=50-52MPH
    SLT700=46-48MPH
    SL700D=50-52MPH
    SLX780=56-58MPH
    SLX785=60MPH
    SL1050=62-64MPH
    SLTX=55MPH
