gp1200r sat for 2 yrs took the seat off filled with water
went to look at this ski to buy just now. took the completly rotted seat off and water was up to the 4 cylinder bolts that hold the cylinders to the lower end, carbs completly under. is this worth taking apart and fixing told the guy i would think about it and get back to him. i drained the water out and now i know i have to race the clock. but whats the chances of the carbs and lower end of the motor being good still?

its fresh water from sitting on the trailer and filling with rain water. so the carbs i should be able to save? so you think new crank, i guess flywheel, magneto and reeds?

The cylinders may be bad also from all of the condensation in there.

yeah i told the guy that as far as im concerened the only thing good still is the cylinder head and the computer box. i was only really looking at it because i need a reggy for my other ski and he wont part it out. he wanted 1200 but when i took the seat off and saw it he came down to 750$

Ohhhhh also comes with a birds nest above the jet pump, missing floor mats and alot of like sperm looking things swimming around the floor mat area that was also filled with water for 2 years

1. Try to get him lower on the price.
2. Take out parts you need.
3. Sell hull for 1000-1500
