    exhaust water temp sensor

I am about to check my exhaust water temp sensor, when removing it, there is a cavity full of oil. the manual says when reinstalling the temp sensor, to put "the engine oil (10-30)"

ALL i have here is 10W-40! is that ok? i figure it probably is, but whenever i assume...... well you know.
