Performance Cylinder Head "Girdle" Kit (GPR 2007)
Could anyone explain me, whatīs in that "Girdle" Kit?
Why itīs necessary "or not"?
Has anyone a Picture?

The Riva and R&D are pretty much the same... you dont need a girdle kit unless going over 150psi IMO.
I like the 3 piece heads so I can fine tune my compression and squish for each cylinder... but thats just me.

The girdle kit comes with hardware that cinches down the 4 corners of the head for extra clamping force. Studs that replace the lower cylinder bolts, SS nuts that fasten the cyls to the engine block, and long bolts that go through the head and thread into the SS nuts.

Hello night022, If you look on the yamaha classifieds i have a very good deal on riva heads and girtle kit.
