    New piston install in SLT 750

    Hi, I recently installed a new piston .050 do to the old one had a hole in the center. My question is I'm only getting 90psi compression compared to the other two at 120psi. Any help apreciated

    Something is wrong. Measure the bore and piston. Also check to make sure you have the correct rings and the end gap is correct.

    JUst a thought did you break in the piston ring yet or was that a comp. reading as soon as you installed it? If you didn't break in the ring air can get passed it and lose comp. Maybe try to break it in and do another reading? Just a thought someone will chime in soon if i'm wrong hang in there.
