    06 RXT loosing Coolant

friends RXT full stage 3 riva kit and that is all. Keeps loosing coolant if staying on the throttle for too long. said he went out the other day for 5hrs and his res tank is completely empty. no signs of obvious leaking. pulls hard to 8600 all the time, was keeping up with me no problem, just thought i'd ask here before i starting tearing it apart. my first check was going to be compression but the 8600rpm tells me that is somewhat good, cant figure out where the coolant is going though, hes had it to the dealer who installed the kit and they nor riva know why its doing this.

    help please

it'll be pressurising at wot, if he puts the edder tank overflow transparrent pipe in a plastic bottle and wedged it in the hull, he'll find thats were the coolant is going, (suspect head gasket)

tried that and not much is going in there....

so even if the head gasket is gone, it will still run balls to the wall 8600rpm

I don't think it's the head gasket. I would look at the thermostat. Those Riva 160s are known for that. check the rideplate over after a nice day of riding and after flushing out. How do the oil and coolant look?
