spacer between stator housing and impeller

i have just changed the bearings and seals in the stator housing and did not find the spacer between the impeller and seals
i am wondering if it was not fitted by someone i will not name (i had to have the impellor cut off and the cut marks in the shaft would of damaged the spacer pretty bad)) or whether i have lost it in the process of removing the old impellor (fited after older one was cut off)and fiting the new one

that part is kinda hard to lose and is needed.

i had the same thing happen to me and the shaft walked under high revs damamging my bearings, seals, wear ring and prop.

still managed a 72.1mph with it like that though

i'm talking about the one between the impeller and seals (more like a washer)not the one between the two bearings
just wondering if i lost it while cleaning (i don't think i did) or if it has been runing without it
i know it doesn't realy mater now but just sort of hoping that it may have been slowing the ski down

I had the same thing happen to me but I wound up finding a spacer. I was told that without it is like having a "poorman's" setback impeller. I would find one and use it if I were you.
