Welcome! As far as the mods...it depends on what you want to spend.

    black beast,

First item I would buy is a tach.

Whereever you start, do one mod at a time. Get a baseline first so you know how your ski performs and go from there. You are on the right forum and will get the best advice here.

Welcome to the board Black beast. :P

Give us your budget $$ on how much you want spend.

First items will be a good aftermarket tachometer, prop, intake grate, ride plate, d-plate, wave-eater powervalves clips, pump plug kit.

Give us the budget and the GPR board members will point you in the right direction.

Welcome to the board Black Beast.

I would seal the pump first then a grate and plate.

Guy, guy, can't you read??? It's an '06 he wants to mod... NO PVs!

What kind of forum can we have if people can't read???

And with the d-plate on the '05-'06 you more then likely will need an EFI. I belive Yamaha leaned out the fuel curve a bit. It's fine if you're stock, not once you let her breath!

You will need these on your 01 GPR. You can get more info at:

    http://waveeaterproducts.com/

Do NOT get the couplers advertised on their site. You only need the PV clips.
