    RXPX intake grate

    Are there any negative effects to changing the intake grate?

    First off let me say welcome to the forum...

    As far as the intake grate,I have heard of no negative issues at all...
    Go ahead and replace it!!!!

    Welcome to the forum!

    No negative effects!

    Many people here, changing there intake grates to get an optimum water flow, to the impeller. That will improve trust, more RMPs and top speed.

    And this cant be negative

    With one is the best for you, is another question!
    -Were are you driving, lake or open water?
    -Do you driving slalom or just stait on?

    I changed mine to the R&D, got better hook up, better gas "mileage" and better top speed.

    I heard u can lose top speed or acceleration , someone was tellin me, i think he said if you ride in chop it could be better but on glass it will lose mph is there any truth to this????

    I have been hearing about reduced fuel consumption, can anyone else confirm this? Not calling you or my resources liars just wanted to get a bigger audience on this issue. Thanks!

    what is ur top speed with the grate and is this the only mod u have done?? im runnin 70mph at 7900 rpm, according to gauges- bone stock that is
