    Flo-Rite Air Vents

    Hey guys!

I was wondering if anyone had tried installed the flo-rite air vents on their ski and if it made any difference what so ever with anything like performance? Its supposed to keep water out and let out hot air and bring in cold right? So does it increase performance some how because these 4 stroke engines are greatly effected by heat?

    Just wondering..
And another thing, any try the jet works flow control valve? Does it really help top speed and throttle responce??

    any info is greatly appreciated..

    thanks all!

I installed them in the rear of the seat in my GPR along with some air vent mods in the front this helped air flow through my engine compartment.

Vent, Flow-Rite (2in), 1 each Flow-Rite™ Air Vents reduce underhood temperatures & improve performance by allowing hot air to escape engine compartment. These 2" water-repellant vents feature an integrated pre-filter that allows air to pass freely while keeping water out. Installs easily into engine cowling or deck of your watercraft. This was part of a series of mods to get air flow into the motor compartment. Does it work? Yes. The seat would actually suck down when the motor was run at WOT.

Wow, thats pretty impressive. You said you had vents at the front as well? Where are those located? Are they Flo-Rite ones also?

No, The GPR has air inlets under the cowling one faces forward one back. The one that faces forward acts like induction, The mod is to cut open the front of the rear facing one to mimic the other and seal the back of it. Then we also add holes under our hood cover and in the front storage bucket.
