Yeah Baby !!!!!!
This new pump is the bomb. I also had mother nature on my side today also ! cool temps and low humidity made for an awesome day !
temp 56 degree
dewpoint 36 degrees
wind 11 mph
Stock trim tabs
On a half tank I ran several 74.0's and 74.1's
when I got to 2 bars, I could only get 73.8, 73.9. Put 5 gallons back in it and ran 4-74.2's !!
RPM's were 7330 avg thru the day, It got down to 7300 after a little heat soak from back to back runs.
yep, Darn good day guys !!!
All I can say is the new 05 pump works awesome on a 1200R and is worth the money !
I was worried whether I didn't have enough power to turn the prop, but the boat responded very well. It is a 14/20 Dyna-Fly. I checked the pitch on it and it is actually a 13/20.
The holeshot is extremely strong (same)
The midrange is Pulls very strong thru the powerband (better than my old YF-CD 14/20)
The top end is obvious !
I would love to see how fast it would go with an 800 grate !
If any of you are considering putting this pump on your GP1200R's Do it !

Billie, do you think you might try a different pitch? because those rpms are lookin high or do you think you could turn a tab bit taller prop. I wonder if there is another MPH in there somewhere??

IMT, the fact it got faster with weight added back tells me this pump needs the possibility of denser 'cleaner' water...where are your sponsons set?
A steeper prop would lower the rpms a bit and may suck more water into the pump, pulling the ski into the water a little deeper.
Is it a 'wide' blade impeller on this? maybe a tweek at the edges?...
