    A Recovering American Soldier

While many of us are currently writing cards to friends and family. If you can, or have any extra seasonal greeting cards- please send them (or 10, or 20) to our American military heroes who are recuperating from wounds this Christmas Season.

Please enclose a short note thanking them for their service and personal sacrifice. They are the protectors of our freedom, we must let them know.
I know,... it helps take your mind of the reason your there. Plus knowing someone like you actually took the time to send a perfect stranger a small token of appreciation

Your small act of kindness will be greatly appreciated.

    Here's the address...

    A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
    6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
    Washington, DC 20307-5001

If you would, please forward this message to your email friends and lets start a new American tradition, instead of the politicizing sides of retreating nay sayers or the stay and finish the job sayers. Either way you feel refrain from the politic's and stick to the message of hope for a special time of year and their recovery.
