    Speedometer V GPS

I know my speedo needs to be adjusted, i know it's slow. It's about 8 mph. slower than the GPS. When i'm running about 30 mph. on speedo, the gps reads around 38 mph. ( 45 - 53 ) an so on. Yesterday i made a WOT. run for about 1/4mi. w/o the gps with me. the speedo reading was 70 mph. By calculation's the gps would have a reading of 78 mph.( I don't think so.) It's not that fast. (stock) I don't get it.

dont trust the speedo (dreamometer), even if trimmed up correctly (do a search its in here somewhere how to check it) it is still inaccurate, go for the gps every time for accuracy.

The speedos are just paddle wheels in the water guessing. It will never be on the spot.

Either use a GPS or a speed gun, RADAR, LIDAR or what ever else they have noawdays... i don't even think the Speedo is even good for a reference! Kinda makes you wonder how accurate the REST of the instrumentation is...
I think it's all we have..
