    engine drowned mode Q?

    why i can not crank the engine when it is on drowned mode !! it is 2006 rxp

    stop/start switch can crank and start the enging normaly if it is not on drowned mode


    is it the TPS , ECU any hint plz

    drowned mode? I assume you mean holding the throttle while starting?

    It stops the fuel injectors from firing. I would assume they implemented this feature for service purposes.

    I though it also stopped the ignition from firing as well.

    Is you throttle reaching full? if you have to much slack in the cable it might do that as if the butterfly gets stuck around halfway the engine wont crank I found this out when we thought we had a faulty solenoid turned out the ecu wont let ou crank if the buttlerfly is not on the stopper when you put key on.
    Are you holding the throttle open then putting key on as this may be a problem you need to put key on get 2 beeps then open throttle and crank.

    aha it is all about butterfly .it is a new info for me cuse i cant find anything on the manual .ill chk the stopper adjust cable and rest the TPS with buds and see if it works .
