    Stage 3 valve float??

Ok we just installed the new motor and now I have valve float (it seems to me anyway) or a 8400 rpm miss. I put on Rivas valve train upgrade kit off my old motor should I have gone with a new one? Heres a list of mods. Riva ECU, Riva Valve train upgrade, 50# injectors, Rude SC, catch can, Riva Gen 2 IC, GH water box, Riva rear air, 15/19 impeller, adj nozzle. It runs like a rocket up to about 8200 than starts missing which I'm assuming is valve float. Any ideas?
    Thanks

    That's not valve float.

Try installing a fresh set of plugs and see what happens.

Will try that, its a brand new long block from Sea Doo with less than a hour, the plugs were new heck everything except the springs, buckets and bolts were new on the long block. The original one hydro locked and broke when my other ic decided to start leaking. I asked my son if he changed the springs etc out he swears he did wheat would happen if he didnt? Its his boat and it time for him to learn how to....

eta, could the plugs go bad that fast? less than a hour.

I've heard of plugs going bad on fresh engines, probably due to contamination, slight oil consumption before rings seat, etc... Plus, these engines are especially prone to fouling plugs for whatever reason. Also, I've run the Riva ECU with stock valvesprings up to 8450 rpm. It's not recommended for long periods, but it didn't float them either.
