Nope, on the S200, even the '08's still have the Analog Gauges, no Digital yet. And from what I hear, when you put an Hour Meter on them, they start logging Hours as soon as the Key is clipped on, NOT only when the Engines are running. So if you aren't even running the Engines, but the Key is clipped on, you'll be running up the Meter.

Fun boat. I've installed Perfect Pass on mine which has an hour meter, otherwise your dealer can download the hours from the computer if you take it in for service.

My top speed is 67 mph (GPS based using Perfect Pass), but I'm not too worried about top speed.

I think boattest.com did an article on fuel economy, but honestly, you didn't buy this thing for fuel economy. Hopefully you got the $2K gas card from Seadoo when you bought it.

Dynotune makes a small digital hour meter that is super easy to install ... battery operated (they say no need to replace), attaches to the exterior of a spark plug & only logs running time.

Your best fuel economy rpm is readily identified by the rpms where you & your passengers have the biggest smile!

skiyak777 - what mods got you to 67!?

No mods on mine and as I said I have seen the Perfect Pass read 67. I'd guess the exact number depends a lot on how the boat is loaded and trimmed, how smooth the water is, any currents, wind, and whether your GPS lock is good. Here's a repost from another forum on the issue:

We usually have to set the speedometer on all of the 20 foot and up models so about every 4th boat or so we take the GPS out with us. The 200 Speedster with the 310 is usually 54 to 55 MPH, the 430 HP version is typically 63 to 64 MPH. Ironically the 2008 205 Utopia with the 430 HP package is slightly faster clocking in at 65 to 66 BUT the Utopia is a chine walking wild ride at WOT whereas the 200 Speedster feels more stable. The Islandia and 230 Challenger SE are typically 57 to 58 MPH. The 150 Speedster with the 155 HP engine is 50 to 52 MPH, with the 215 HP from 60 to 62 MPH. The 180 Challenger with the 215 HP engine is slow, the older Challenger 180 with the 185 HP engine is even slower. Keep in mind all of those speeds are with brand new boats, if the break in program wasn't in effect (215 HP only) they might be 1 or 2 MPH faster. Also no boat was run WOT for more than 30 seconds to get a reading.

Hard to believe the Speedster 150 speed- I'm sure VX1 will cringe at your stock speeds too.

I have gotten to 51mph on gps with my '08 speedster 150 (155hp) so the non supercharged values sound about right. The Speedster 150 SCIC values do sound a bit high from what I have heard on these and other forums.
