    Spark plug boots

A quick question...on my '97 GTX do the spark plug boots pull off or screw off?

    Thanks

Hmm...the ones I've done had a sharp post with ridges in it to grip the wires, but was still push-on.

They looked threaded to me like a sheet metal screw. They would tighten up as I screwed them on after trimmig the ends but you could pull them off to trim them... We could be looking at diferent versions

NGK boot I have twist on. some use pliers for a quick crimp, but don't tear the boot or you'll be sorry, LOL

I should have been more specific, as I was referring to the wires, not the plug. As you've already guessed, I'm going to trim my wires.

I think I'll just start by twisting the boot and pulling slightly to see how that works.
