07 vs. 08 rideplate? Can I run a 2007 Jim's plate on my RXPX with a girdle kit?

I'm wanting to put an open loop kit and Jim's plate on my RXP-X and found a good deal on a plate from a 2007. Can I add a girdle kit with the 07 plate and use it on my X ski? Or am I just SOL, and have to have an 08 plate? Thanks!

I really don't think you would want to with the larger intake grate on the X. The new ride plate is a much better design plus if you have the pressure relief holes drilled the girdle might get in the way.
BTW I put this plate on my X this weekend and it's awesome!!! Definitely worth it, great work Jim!!

The 07 and 08 rideplate are different. So are the pump shoes.
