Carbs are stock Mikuni SBN-I 44mm. as far as punching these out it is work not just bore up and get pistons. do a little research and you will see what I mean. either look for used cylinders or go big bore.

Mech was wrong, they do have aftermarket flame arrestor adapters though and the chokes have been removed.

Ok i now have to go big bore what size....again shop said this was a 84mm pistion but after the carb issue i have a doubt.Would this be a factory size?Is it easier/cheaper to go big versus new/used cylinders?Any recommendation on who to give cylinder work too? What can be seen from pic please let me know if any of these parts need to be changed/added due to going big bore. The previous owner said the boat had crank but not sure the brand.

thats a stock piston. (size f)
what do you want to do with the engine? is the nikasil bore damaged? if not, and if you dont want to spend heaps, why not just replace the pistons with size f and be done !.

carbs dont look too badly corroded, the crank may be a hot rods but doesnt really matter unless your going big compression / timing.

best bet, strip the whole lot right out, clean it up and throw some pics on. The boyz in the know will give ya all the info
