Supposed to be a good tach according to other threads I've read. Kind of pricy.

Lots of guys here use the Pet-2100DX. I use the Pet-2500 because I got a real good deal on it. Some are also using the Tinytach Commercial version.

Here's info on the Advent tach. You will need Adobe Acrobat in order to read it.

If its anything like the Hot Pack set up ( I use one on my XPL) it has an exaust prop for each port on the exaust manafold which ables to read temps on each cylinder. The display also has a tach built into it.

The advent tach is the fastest tach you will find with our current choices. However it is bulky and hard to mount and look good too. The temp probes react so much faster than the hot tach, you can't believe it. PLUS they are about half the diameter, so they don't tend to heat up as fast as the hot tachs, giving more repeatable results. Its a pretty amazing device. The menus were fairly easy to learn. I liked having a 12VDC meter too. Without looking it had egt and rpm alarms.

Mine got ripped off my boat. Otherwise I'd still have it. My current reference it a 2500. I got a smokin deal on it a couple of years ago.
