    1994 SLT750 LOW RPM Problem 5000 max????

I bought two 1994 SLT750 skis and one is good and the other has an issue that i'm boggled about. The ski only goes to 5000 to 5100 rpms. The problem was present before all the "tinkering" and has not gotting better. here is what i've done so far. The carbs have been redone, new fuel pump, new plugs, new fuel lines and filter, cleaned out the tank new gas, the spark seems good and the compression is at 120-120-115. Any thoughts would be great?

Have you tried using the choke at wot to see if that helps? when ya replaced the fuel lines, did ya find and reinstall the return line restrictor?
When you went through the carbs, did ya inspect the reeds? when you hold the throttle wide open, do the throttle plates open fully?

    Check the jet pump?
Make sure the bearings are good.
Check the Impeller clearance and for damage.

Is the MFD flashing the light at all while running?

OK I took it out last night and tried the choke idea and it make it die. The reeds were replaced when the cabs were done. rechecked the impeller and all good and greased. The MFD has no light flashing or warning things. I'm out of ideas at this point?

Does it seem like it's breaking up when you get to max rpm or does it still run smooth but not get enough rpm's .

What are the adjustment screws set at? What jets are installed?

Can you get a good look at the piston domes to see if they are wet?

I'm thinking the carbs are too rich and limiting RPM.

The ski runs smooth at WOT just does not go over 5000-5100 rpm's.
The screws are set to factory specs and not sure on the jet I believe they a factory ones. I have not looked at the domes. Also I don't think this model or year has a rev limiter, only 96 and up. Thanks
