    WTB: Pro785 Parts

Finally had the engine torn down and this is what she will need to come back to life:

If any parts are compatible with a 99, I need the following:

Nikasil coated sleeve and machining to bore the existing cylinder and install a cast iron Wiseco sleeve

One Wiseco piston with rings for that piston

Two sets of rings for the remaining two cylinders

    Top end gasket kit

I prefer to get all this stuff used. I don't know much about repairs, I will be getting this stuff to my repair shop since he quoted me new and that is way too much. The ski is a 1999 Pro 785. If anybody wants the ski, you can have it as is for $1600. Thanks.

You can't just use one wiseco piston if the others are stock polaris the motor will be out of balance . 1600.00 is way to much to ask i just sold a mint 00 pro with a rebuilt crank and all new pistons for 1900.00 these ski have fallen in price and it's sad because they are one of the best ski's ever made .

    Update

Thanks for the advice -- need a stock piston then.

Still think the sleeve needs to be redone though, right?

Stock 785's do not have sleeves they are plated. Have your old one replated.

    Update

All the pistons are Wiseco... there were a bunch of performance mods made to the ski by the previous owner. I'm not sure exactly what they were, but all the pistons were upgraded to Wiseco - so I cannot use a stock one.
