    How to take apart and clean Start/Stop switch??

    Hey guys is there a thread or tuturial about how to open and clean the start stop switch assembly to clean the concacts check for corrosion ext... 97 polaris sltx. Do you have to remove the handle bar pad to be able to open it up??

    No,2 screws on back side,after you take them out the unit will seprate and the you can get to the switches,,,,,,,now opening them and cleaning I haven;t look at which, one or ones is bad?

    Disconnect the battery negative cable while you are working with those switches.
