I'm always broke, so for $50 I bought some casters & 2x4s and built my own. I also built a more complicated steel cart that adjusts height & width, but I use the cheap wood one just as much.

Amen on the cheap part !! I made my own roll around stands with heavy duty ball bearing casters that all swivel and have brakes and 2x4's and they work great !! I used pressure treated 2x4's and screwed everything together with corrosion proof deck screws. Strong as hell and will last a lifetime ! That way I can roll my boats out of the garage and wash/flush them without worrying about the stands falling apart.

The following are not what I would call high quality stands, but they serve. Should give some ideas for those who want to do their own. The wood stand is a few inches higher than it should be.

this may seem like a stupid question... but how do you move your skis from the trailer to the stands?
