    hello all !
i'm new to the forum, i like all the info on the site. I was looking on this tread because i just bought a 94 sl has not run in 3 years.

    here what it has

    genesis 3 heads pt #s93
    psi jugs
    psi triple pipes
    77.00 Mm pistons
looks like from what i learned from this site 44 Mn sbn

I talked to bruce at psi who no longer makes pwc parts, he thinks its a genesis motor .

also has ocean force air cleaners.

I noticed some oil in the hull when i bought it, inspected found bolt on pto jug missing so it blew the base gasket out.

so took all the jugs out had them honed and bought new rings but my piston/liner clearance is
    #1 hole .014
    #2 hole .011
    #3 hole .011
I talked to bruce at psi he said that should be ok just run my ring gap at .018-.020
    what do you guys think?
    thanks mike from michigan

    Welcome to the hulk Mike.

Are you sure they're 77mm pistons? If so, you may have a 1000cc Genesis.

We'd LOVE pics of what you got.

There's a guy that used to work for PSI that I've dealt with a few times. His name is Joby and can be reached at (920) 787-3868

He's a good guy and doesn't mind helping out with info, parts, or service.

    Give him a call.

What brand of pistons are you using? Wiseco may need larger gaps than cast pistons.

RUO,RHO,Looks like a new sheriff in town And he's got a BIG GUN...
Welcome Mike,Like Xlint said looks like you found on of the rare 1000cc beast. My heads are S75,Xlints 780 heads are S78 I think,Would the S93 mean a 930cc that they may have called 1000cc.
Where are you located at? I'm from Michigan I would love to see it when I get back. Were area did you buy it in.
Does it have the tripple pipes on it? I would think so.
Sounds like your going to be running the same pistons, just new rings?
Let's have Beerdart or AL move this to it's own thread in Projects,I think this ones going to be interesting. You have found the right place for a ski like that.........OH Yea! We NEED PICTURES!
