    Question Need Some Prop Help Here!!

    I had a 14/19 solas in my ski and it hit 8100 in about 40-50 feet and stayed there so I always had to let out of it...If I ran it about 7950 with not giving WOT it was always pulling...swapped out jet pumps with my 08 RXP and was running 7800-7900 but seemed to be alot less out of the hole and on top end....I know I need a new prop but do not want to buy 3 or 4 to find the right one....also what is better a 3 or 4 prop and what will give me the most...I beleive the 08 has a 15/20 but am not sure....saw that I can re-pitch my 14/19 to a 14/20....Is that the best fit for me....Please help all of you.....Thanks in advance

    15/20

    i would go for a 15/20 .
    especially if u plan on adding a external i/c.

    have the 15/20 on there and seems slower....wondering what the 14/20 will do if I have it pitched???

    acceleration or top end.

    Ok sorry i just went back and reread your post. so less holeshot and top end with 15/20.
    If you dont have any cavitation with the 14/19 and it makes your best holeshot, then start adding pitch to your 14/19 prop until your at 8,100 rpm. I am going to guess if you are at 7,900 then you will need 2.5 to 3 mm in the prop.
    You also can add a pro nozzle and run 81 or 82 ring and you would not have to add so much pitch.

    You can depitch your 15/20 2 mm and probably get to 8,100 and pick up your top end but not sure if it will give you back your holeshot you like in the 14/19.

    If you want awesome acceleration and dont mind loosing 2 to 3 mph on top you can run a 3 blade.

    Have you GPS'd it with the 15/20? It does seem slower because of the lower rpm's, but my 04 picked up over 1 mph. I just have the Riva air, RR impeller, and the 15/20 and run 72.6 mph.

    thanks skoepp...I really don't want to lose top end but also don't want to loss acceleration either....want to find the perfect prop to compliment what I have done so far....on the other hand I am gonna order ther xs ic tomorrow along with the rrfpr so I will probably have to do this again....It ran like no other until I added the X charger and now it seems to be less...just need to figure out why....thanks for everything....

    what sc did you have before and do you any boost nubers for comparison?
    i am also wondering if the prop in the 08 pump was stock or was a 15/20. I do not think that the stock prop would be a 15/20 for sure. Just thinking that could be one issue but i would think that you would be all over the limiter with stocker.

    With your mods and adding ic you should be able to pull a 15/20 pretty easy.

    I have no numbers but was running a rebuilt sc with riva washers that was just a replacement sc for the one that blew.....

    your numbers that your listed on results, was that before adding X charger or after?
