    New RXP owner

Morning all, I've just sold my Honda R12X, due to the turbo lag leaving me last away from the start gate at every race , and I've bought an 06 RXP with 24hrs and totally stock.

I'm gonna do the last race of the series in Sept as it is, hope it's as good as I'm expecting.

Here's the thing...........over the winter before next years race series I'll make some mods. Bearing in mind I can only modify handling and not engine (due to the class I'm in) what should be on my shopping list ?

    Thanks, Mitch
PS. Heading to the coast tonight for a weekend to try it out

PS.PS. Do the SC washers need changing on this model/year ?

Get hydroturf mats and a good seat cover will help you to hold on better. Does the engine have to stay completly stock?? No air filter or exhaust mods allowed?? R88

    RXP

    Yes, stock engine.
Can do Prop , Sponsons , Ride plate, Scoop grate, steering, pump wedge, seat.

    But what works ?
    Which brands are best ?

Want bottom end punch , not worried if I lose a couple of MPH up top.

    Thanks, Mitch

Well the three blade props are supposed to be better for accel but im not sure what pitch you would want on a stock engine. Riva sponsons or drop your stock 1s if that is allowed. UMI steering is expensive but every1 that fits it loves it. Could go with a riva wedge and extension rod so that you still got full trim down for the corners and start. Im assuming that you can swap the washers to metal???? Gota do this before the ceramics cak out, if they still in your sc. If they go then you wont be racing anythig till your mota get a full rebuild. R88
