    New Seadoo rider!

    Hey everyone. Just wanted to say thanks for such a great site esp the seadoo part!!! I recently bout a 2007 yamaha VX110 and after 2 months realized that it wasnt the ski I was looking for so i traded it in on a 2005 Seadoo RXT 215. WOW, what a differnece in qualitly and performance in my book!!! but anyway just wanted to say thanks to all the regulars who post such great info for us Seadoo Newbies out there!!!

    DO you know if the SC clutches have been changed to metal units?

    No im not sure if they have yet but I know that it will top out ( on Dreamometer ) at 70mph and 8100 and hold there as long as i hold on!

    Well in reality your "70" as seadoo says is really only like 62-65.

    Changing to the metal s/c clutch washers will not affect the performance of your ski at all, only make it far more reliable, and eliminate the risk of the s/c falling to bits. Which can cause some serious damage!!!
