    2004 RXP Lanyard/Ignition

Hey wats up? I was wondering if I could do something... On my 04 RXP, I would like to put a water-proof key switch in the glove-box in addition to the lanyard for ignition to work. How might I go about this? I know how to solder and wire and what-not, but what wires do I need to extend to under the glove box? Is there just red and black leads coming out from the lanyard post? 'Cuz if so I know what to do.

EDIT: And I am by NO MEANS trying to bypass the safety lanyard. (I know that would take a VERRRRRRY careful selection of resistor to do the job!)

considering the lanyard is programmed and near fool proof if not completely proof why would you want to? any addition is prone to corrosion/faults. The dess post wires are white and black
the stock key post system works very well.

    I see what you mean...

I want it for my stereo system(and other accessories) so I can leave the lanyard in and not have to carry it around. I already have switches for the other accessories, but I want a master switch for the entire ski other than the lanyard. And I understand the stock system works well, I don't doubt that one bit. WOOT! GO SEADOO!
