    Smile Speed Questions??

    just wondering what speeds you all think I should be running with my ski until I get my GPS....Have the riva air intake, riva grate, riva thru hull exhaust, opas block off, X charger, 42 injectors and 15/20 prop...running at about 3,900 ft. here and running a consistant 7900 RPM....???

    My guess since your close to me as far as set up 75-76 .I dont see a rude regulator with that x charger and 42# .I thought that was a must in this set upAnd no ic humm. 74 if ya dont blow it up

    thanks, I was just wondering....as for blowing it up how would that be possible if I am not running over 7900 rpm and highest temp has read is 83?? Just want to know for sure cause i ordered the rrfpr and ic and reduction nozzle for next week...Thanks for everything

    what is the ideal temp you want your ski running at??? I assumed that mid 80's was pretty good but am new to all this...

    Your elevation is high so i suppose your RAD would be arround 6,000 ft. or so. That hurts big time and that is why you are only pulling 7,900 rpm.
    I would say that with your mods, at 3,900 ft, and turning 8,100 rpm you would be arround 74 to 75 mph. So since your off 200 rpm then you should be arround 2 to 3 mph less so that would be 71 to 72 at 7,900 rpm.

    In my opinion you dont need the reduction nozzle unless you buy an 85 ring. you need to gain rpm and reducing the nozzle will not help that unless you go 84 or 85 which is bigger diamater then stock.
    Take 2 mm out of your 15/20 prop and you might be right on with 83 ring or stock nozzle. then as weather cools down you then can reduce to smaller ring to stay at 8,100 rpm.

    As far as 42s and X charger there has not been much info on what is good fueling. With your altitude and my experience your probalbly ok. I ran 42s with S3 and was ok on AFR.
    I do like your idea better running RRFPR but with your altitude I would put back in stock injectors, i know this from experience.

    Thanks skoepp, got another one for ya, with this set up do I have to run the xs ic, i know it will help and all but pretty expensive for the amount of time I got left to ride it...looking at the rotax thermostat also...Will it be okay the way it is and I was also wondering about the 4" intake compared to the 3 that I have...Any help will be awsome...Thanks in advance
