    I've got a hard decision guys! : (

Well I went to my local PWC store today to see what they had. I may be trading in the GP1200R. They have a really good deal on a brand new 2007 GXP. The 215 Horsepower 2 seater Seadoo. It yellow and black. Looks really sweat! Heres the good part. $7,800 and it comes with a $1000 gas card. He said he would give me 3-4K for my ski. What do you guys think? I dont know what to do. I love the GPR but then agian it a 2001 and this a 2007. I love Supercharged 4-strokes. Help me out please give me some advice...

    Thanks

    Justin

I understand that you want to trade your ski but Yamaha to Sea-Doo I don't know about that. It is a good deal though. I am waiting until later this year to get a left over 08 SHO so maybe you could wait a little longer and see what kind've deal you could get

i would say keep your 1200. the gpr is the best hull on the water and it has been prooven at the mud bug events. keep your ski and take the money that u have to get the ski and put it into your 1200 and make it a fast ski

    thats not a hard decision

Let me put it into perspective a 2007 RXP in Australia would set you back 19 grand AU if it was used. and you would be lucky to get Life jackets.
Buy the RXP and keep the GP1200 and go and get a SHO as well.

Well I didn't get it today. Im probley going to get it on tuesday but im going to have to thank about it over this weekend. I guess atleast I will get to spend one more weekend at the lake with the GPR. I've only had the Jet ski for one month(My first ski) and I really enjoyed the time I had with it. Another good thing is I gave 3K for the ski and there going to give me $3,500 for it. Im sure I will end up buying another GPR in the future but for right now I can only afford one.

I have ridden a GP and an RXP I'm on the heavy side of skinny and the RXP didn't seem as stable as the GP so If your a tad on the large side it might be worth a test ride before comitting to the purchuse and remember SD isn't far off releasing its 09 range which may see a bargain RXP drop even further in value and price depending on what they release.

I'd get get the rxp, you said $7800 for the RXP plus a $1000 gas card which puts the RXP at $6800 minus your $3500 = $3300 for a 2007 RXP. Thats a helluva deal bro and I would jump all over that deal.
Seadoos are great skis, I had seadoos for 8 years before switching over to yamaha. Either one is fine with me, I just like the fact that it doesn't take much to get a GPR over 75+ where as the Seadoo RXP is going to take a few extra to get there, but then it is a 4 stroke.

I'd do it, and sell the gpr outright, IF it's in good shape. If not take the trade in. Then again, trade in value off of sale price usually isn't taxed so you make out on the trade in again...or do I have it backwards?

That's a helluva deal, as much as I like Yamaha you should probably jump on that.
