    West Coast event!!!

OK, Iím sure there are others that canít make it to the world class event known as MudBug. Either because of distance or timingÖ (me timing!)

A few of us are attempting to set up an event at Lake Havasu. We are talking about two events one in spring, (Apl/May) and one in late Aug/early Sep. So who out there would like to attend an event like this? I will be posting more polls over the next couple weeks to help get an idea of what people would like and what is going to be possible. Feel free to PM me or post with ideas!

Jerry I would also be very open to any input you have about setting up an event like this! Some does and don't that you learned from the first time around.

Havasu is fine with me. However I would like to throw out the option of senators wash near the colorado river outside of yuma az. Perfectly flat water. Can launch from the shore. Trailers in the water easy access to wrench on skis. We could have one day at the wash and one day on the river. There is a nice microtel motel within 10 minutes of the launch site. Camping at the wash is only 5 dollars a day. It is a rough camp. I believe this location to be much better than havasu for an event like this. Havasu gets very crowded very windy and very rough. I wouldnt do this event in aug or september. March or april is much better. Antwhere in az or california in aug or september will be to crowded to have an event of this caliber.

Just remember that in August, no matter where you pic, either in Havasu or Yuma, you are talking 110 plus temps.

Havasu will NOT get very smooth water, but is more central to the entire west coast. The Sherriffs and Coast Gaurd are very active there too.

Another option might be up the river north of Havasu. Wonder if Group K would like to host an informal get together in his neck of the woods?
