    what now???

My 94 slt750 got submerged this weekend and I mean totally full of water. Was told to take spark plugs out and turn motor over till all water was blown out of cylinders which I did. Also draind premix oil (which also had water) and replaced it. After several atempts with new plugs the motor fired up and ran for a while. I added some heet and B12 to the gas tank and refilled with premium fuel. Took it out to the river and thought that maybe running it would clear the carbs. It starts right up and sounds good but I think it is only running on 2 cylinders. Power is way down and when I checked plugs the front cylinder plug was just wet and not firing. The other 2 plugs looked like they were dry and burning properly. What do I need to do that I can do myself, dont want to take it in and be told I need an overhaul by the stealer.I am thinking that the front cylinder is not getting fire to it, like I said when I pulled it (twice with new plugs just wet with gas and there seemed to be gas blowing out of the top of the cylinder. Is this jet ski toast or is it possible for me to repair myself??? Dont know much about j-skis but Im a pretty good wrench, any help would be appreciated.

Get a spark tetster and check to verify you DON'T have spark on that cyl.

Try unscrewing the spark plug boot from the wire. Cut the wire back about 1/4" and rescrew the boot back on. Then try it.

    Sometimes that connection is bad.

And not that it has anything to do with spark, but always check your fuel pump after that much water has violated your ski. The water can potentially cause damage to the diaphram from being pushed up the impulse line. It's worth a physical inspection as it may be working... but maybe not 100%. I'd hate to see you find it the hard way.
