How To Get Off OEM "Clamp-On" Clamps?

Ok, so what are the Tricks to getting these crappin' things off? The only other time I had to take this Type of Clamp off was when I was totally Tearing Down a Motor to Part Out, so I didn't care if I messed anything up.

But what is a proper way to get them off.

All's I know is when they DO come off, they'll be getting replaced with T-Bolt Clamps or Worm Gears.

Get a dart...take pliers, bend the tip about 1/2 inch from the end. Squeeze the clamp with some pliers, slide the bent tip of the dart into the opening, pull - pops right open. If you can't get the pliers in there, you can wiggle the dart tip into the opening and pry it open. Works every time.

I got them off surprisingly easy. I took a small Flat Heat Screwdriver and fit it inside the little Loop that is made when the Clamps are pinched tight. Wiggled it around and they came undone real easy.
