    I would replace, not work tearing it down again fro $100

    is that open reeds not acceptable? what are the best reed cages to use? as the stock would affect sealing when rusted...

    i WOULD SAY CAGES ARE FINE, BUT THE REEDS ARE SHOT

    A LITTLE RUST CAN BE CLEANED, BUT THE GAP EFFECTS COMPRESSSION

    the gap is cause by the rubber base of the reed cages that rust already...not the reeds....reeds are in good condition and no cracks

    Take em a part. Clean em up and get some Boysen pro series dual stage replacement reeds.

    we have a clear shot here....look those rubbers going up cause the reeds not seal....under the rubber is rusted...




    how to remove the rust under the rubber???it will destroy the rubber...
